Amazon Grocery Store Coming to Chesterfield County

New Development to Feature State-of-the-Art Fulfillment Center

WRIC – A new development in Chesterfield County will feature a new Amazon grocery store, according to a county planning official. Amazon is also leasing a 321,000-square-foot warehouse in the county for a new facility where packages are sorted before being shipped out to local homes on delivery vans.

The giant Amazon warehouse in Chesterfield County is constantly bustling with activity. At about 12 million square feet – roughly the size of 28 football fields – the fulfillment center is one of the company's largest in the world.
